How about this for a change of pace over the Holidays !!!

Take the Kids up thru Montgomery, either way you get there, from there you can eat in town, head out 1097 across the lake, go see the Wolves, or just drive up thru the Park. You can fond a place or two up at Stubble field to stand on the bank and cast a line. When it gets warmer, I will fish that area from my Kayak !!!. Spend time with the family, take a day, take them to lunch in Montgomery, a visit to see the Wolves and then a drive over to Stubble field to look around. You can at least get out and stand on the bridge.

Restaurants – All around the woodlands. Landry’s Seafood Restaurant

A Great Seafood Tradition Since 1947.
For more than six decades, the Landry’s Seafood story has been a tale of legendary Gulf Coast cuisine and true hospitality. From the time the doors opened in 1947 at the first location in Lafayette, Louisiana, out of a family’s home, to the present day, Landry’s Seafood has developed a nationwide reputation for delivering an unmatched dining experience for its guests.

Taste. Laugh. Live.

Extraordinary seafood specialties, tender steaks and bountiful pastas anchor an eclectic menu, artfully crafted and printed every day by chefs who maintain the same level of commitment to the freshest ingredients demonstrated in the 1940s.

In 1980, Tilman Fertitta, president and CEO of Landry’s, Inc., opened his first Landry’s Seafood restaurant in Katy, Texas, setting the stage for what would become one of the nation’s most iconic seafood brands. Today, with locations across the nation, Landry’s Seafood remains the flagship restaurant for a company with more than 400 properties around the world. With locations in exciting cities like Las Vegas, New Orleans, Houston, Orlando and Myrtle Beach, Landry’s Seafood has set a national standard for Gulf Coast dining.
